A moment captured and locked away

Some god forsaken history in disarray

A split-second decision made by a twisted mind

Among the endless rivers of festering feces to find

Some sample or example of hope



No, not today my friend

What you see is what you get till the end

No shining ray of light to guide you

No sweet melody to rise and find you



We’re stuck in the mud of an evil place

With nothing to separate us aside from name and face

One instant and your world is washed away

In the aftermath of blood-lust anger and rage



When your eyes lock open and never blink again

And your last fleeting moments are staring at your blood stain

Nothing in this darkened world is as it seems

Till you slip away into endless sleep and endless dreams
