I am the poem that you could not find The one that lurks beyond the brimming drawer; The frustration that makes you lose your mind, Knowing you can't remember any more Those subtle words that sparkled in a stream Of glittering cadence and melody; Those phrases, like a half-remembered dream, Can titillate and beckon uselessly. Oh wasted hours of rummaging alone, Between the cupboards, cobwebs and lost shoes! Oh scuppered muse! What new verse can atone For one so scatter-minded as to lose Such shining meta-phor-and-afterplay, Such poems as the one that slipped away?

I am deeply moved by this exquisite chamber music piece!
In Xanadu did Kubla Kahn/a stately pleasure dome decree and um er caverns unknown to man/ or something where....where....where Aelph the sacred river ran....yeah that's it and erm .... there was some silly tart wailing for her lost love and...no, its gone. Bugger, that would have been the greates poem ever written.
