Friends Forever

I'm glad to have a friend like you...

Someone I can talk to wehn I feel blue.

I think you're friendly and kind,

and have an interesting mind.

You are generous and sharing,

understanding and caring,

brave and daring,

trusting and truthful,

intelligent, peaceful, and wonderful.

You are listening and inspiring,

sincere, empathic, and feeling,

uplifting, aleviating, and healing.

I can't find anymore words to

describe what I feel.

I don't think there are words to

describe what I feel.

You are a good friend.

Thank you all. I wrote this in Highschool (1991) for a girl I cared very much about. For a long time I had a crush on her, but she was engaged to a guy in the Airforce. He could not take her to Prom so we went to Prom together. She was one of my best friends. After HighSchool she married and I never saw her again...until nearly 20 years later. We reconnected through Facebook and rekindled our friendship. A few years later we moved in together as friends / room mates. That relatioship grew over time to be more. Now we are companions. She kept the poems I wrote her all these years. So, I typed them up here to add to my resume.
