An old mustanger needed me to stop him one day and I did not take the time or read his intent
MOUNTAIN RIDER
I look upon the mountain and see a rider there,
He's ridin high upon the rim, he'll go most anywhere.
He never takes the down road, he always rides on by
Everyday I see him there, shadowed against the sky
I kinda think he's watchin me, to see if I'm ok
I've never heard him say a word, not once, on any day
He only comes out when I'm walkin, across the desert sand
I want him to come closer, I need to hold his hand
I think he really needed me, and I once let him down
I should have stayed beside him , and never gone to town
Then we'd both be together, riding on the hill
I never should have left him to carry out his will.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
