A father of daughters or a father of sons
Your life changed then, you are no longer just one
There’s a part of you they own for as long as you live
Your love is more important than any gift you could give
Mistakes might be made in decisions you make
When your head and your heart don’t know which road to take
But it’s never too late to be a guiding light
If they can learn from you, which way is right
Whether they call you Dad, or Grandpa, or Pops
Your love for your children, it never stops
So here’s me wishing you the best day ever

A great Father's Day poem. I'm not a father, so it's a bit hard for me to relate, having spoiled my nieces and nephews rather than being a good mentor for them. I do want to thank my father, now gone, for showing me how not to live.
