What gift can one give to the Father of us all
He has always answered whenever we called
We may not have understood what his answer was
He gave options to take, our choice, just because
He was there to guide and provide many roads
The right one wasn't easy and heavy were the loads
Sometimes we chose to take the easy way
Could be a dead end, but he did not say.
It's kind of like climbing a tree with branches galore
If you put all your weight on the wrong, who knows what's in store?
Don't decide right away, test the branch that you choose
You'll be able to climb higher, there's no way to lose
Trusting in Him, the greatest father of all
He'll be there for you even if you fall
So the gift that I have for God, up above
Is sending my heart full of trust and love
Happy Father's Day GOD, you're the greatest of them all.
