Pearl Diver

Stripped for sacrifice, with sardonic gaze
Darkened skies reflect blue eyes’ charms
She braces to challenge pulsating crest.
.
Tropic breeze quickens, typhoon rising,
As she breaks the surface, hair swirls
Dives, set on her task, elder’s improbable dare
Prepared to put practice to ultimate test.
.
Hint of sea tang entices her tongue
Just enough to spark a thrill of thirst
She comes up for sharp, smiling breath,
Hands in rhythm with panting waves
Firm strokes pacing throbbing swell.
.
Tempest intensifies; she goes down once more,
Focused on sweet prize, deep immersed,
Barely aware of kelp’s tendrils brushing face
She teases her prey, urging hardness to yield
Coaxing, enticing at last, precious gift expel.
.
Enchanted, she admires starlit necklace,
Dripping wet, blood-warm pearls,
Translucent seed so gently collected,
Strung so prettily ‘cross her breast,
.
Calm now, after unrestrained storm
Finally embraced in strong loving arms
Drifting down, ready for bliss-filled rest.
