Awakened
From dusk till dawn

A causality of self I have passed into another world, another life, as no one lay beside me,

A journey into the unknown, as I bath my soul into a pool of black blood, with bruised hands and chapped lips, cold as the night, my body no longer shivers from the wind that passes through me,

Transformed into what I cannot see, unable to analysis, I hear bagpipes in the back ground, or is it on top that I hear foot prints stumping on my grave,

A coffin

A Black mist smell, so fowl creeps its way into my nostrils,

I am taken into a knew world, a admission of quilt, as my name is called and he book of me is opened, I see clear, the pass and present of yesterday, while my future looks so bleak, I creep with my head hanging down, as to say pass me by,

Ashes to ashes dust to dust I hear a voice whispering low, with such demon laughter,

Pass me by, I say, pass me by,

Alone in the dark makes me shed tears I no longer feel running down my cheeks, a man weep as a boy, wishing to again hold on to his mothers hands, nurse at her breast, pleading pass me by,

A boy I once was, and a boy I shall be again, as the man in me is left behind in a distance world so ancient, but so knew, as things so frequently turn, from dusk till dawn,

I hear a cradle, nursery rhymes hummed, and warmth feels me, I will pass you by, he said, but I will see you again, echoed through my ear,

I will see you again,

Awakened from dusk till dawn,
