my mother gave me all i needed a father and a mother

father father are you there?

because i wanted to tell you that i don't care,
care about the thing's you've done,

for my bottles i will or have,

even though you weren't around,

my place in life is what i found,

father father can't you hear me?

i wondered why you weren't around for me,

but all these years have come and gone past,

and i've finally found the truth at last,

the truth is that i don't need you,

because my mother has gotten me through,

father father isn't it wrong?

to sing that same old tired song,

the song in which you say to me,

in my life is where you want to be,

for father dear if that were true ,

you would be a man and see it through,

father father please don't call,

i really don't want to hear at all,

i'm tired of your same old excuse.

for that is what has tied your noose,

i'm tired of this same old game, for the pieces are still standing and the games the same,

father father do you see why?

my generation looks toward the sky,

for the message that we strive to find,

and i will try to say this message kind,

to all the fathers who are like you,

your children know this to be true ,

we pray that the man of our time, will not commit this haynous crime,

instead we wish them responsibilty,

to give their children security,

and not to leave their childen alone, and only call them on the phone,

for one parent can raise a child,

but they need both parents for awhile,

father father a message for every generation,

there without the hesitation,

if you lay down and make a child,

keep that child from running wild,

for father father you lay in bed,

and your not who the child thought you where, for father you where wrong, but i have a mother to come home to.
