This poem came from a memory of my childhood. I think I painted a memoir like a wate rcolor.

The Rainbow and the Boy
Choi Paul Yearn

A cowboy was grazing his cow. Piping a reed, as he saw the dark clouds coming in flocks, he fastened the cow to the tree like a longheaded locust faster than the sudden shower and rushed under the big rock.

“ Hey, the cow, cow, you will feel refreshed. You will be fresh with driving flies away. ” Piping for the bathing friend, Finding a rainbow at the east sky when it stopped raining, the boy ran over the mountain hill after the rainbow.

“ Ummu, ummu” though the cow called his friend, pretending he did not hear him, ran to catch the rainbow, but the rainbow over the rice paddy, ran away again over the hill. The boy returned from chasing the rainbow piped again to the dancing fairy woman on the rainbow.

The grown-up boy, looking up the clouded city without a rainbow in the sky, forgot the reed flute and fairies. drinking wine always, and crying like the cow, Sometimes he dreamed a dream running over the hill chasing after the rainbow.
