It is, as you read, the work that I expressed the feeling of rambling in forest on the next day after snowing. Is there anything too difficult to understand in this poem? Please question me.
Rambling after Snowing
Choi Paul Yearn
The next day after snowing, I went up the mountain.
The dazzling field, as reflected the golden shining of
the slanted sun in the blue southern sky.
The mood in forest is bright and cozy
as if in the room lighted a candle.
Snow chunks fell often on my forehead
making me get out of the meditation,
Dead pine leaves fell on my mostly hairless head
often as little arrows
as like show the dead cells of my body
in tens of thousands times more than the leaves.
Cool and fresh wind blew from time to time
through above the pungent sound of my footsteps
on the snow covered over dry leaves.
In the joyful path full of trees, sky, and light
I felt like as if Muse rambling along with me,
making me be far away from human world,
making the footsteps of meditation go on
like my footsteps going into the deep forest.
