HALLOWEEN NIGHT

Halloween night is here.

There is nothing to fear.

My gargoyle friends are waiting.

Their stares are somewhat scathing.

The night is young.

The noose is hung.

Lightning sizzles as it plays.

Over the dark house, it stays.

Thunder rumbles in pain.

Loud noises but no rain.

The door opens wide.

There’s no place to hide.

We might as well go in.

Inside looks dark as sin.

This reminds me of a movie called "Don't Knock" that I have watched some time ago. Oh those creepy old houses! You better not go near them!

Eerie and most apt for Friday the thirteenth or for Halloween for that matter; nicely done, Susanne. Love and best wishes to you,

Ooooh! Friday 13th is around and about,
What can we do, but scream and shout?!

Yes, Susan there will be more of
"In the Hall Somebody Stood."

The Last Image by Pamela Ackerson

From the moment they entered the house, hinges creaked and strange and frightening sounds echoed through the halls.
