IT CALLS MY NAME mistymorrning http://imgfave.com The moon’s calling my name. Let it not be in vain. I walk down the road. My soul has been sold. I know my life is now over Even as I clasp the clover. Once darkness comes to its feet, My happy life will be beat. It came out of the blue, This offer to spare you. I could do no more or less. I love you; I must confess. I’ll happily go to the dark side As long as the demons abide. Think of me; I don’t want to boast As the one who loved you most.

The moon has a way of enticing us. There is a dark enchantment to the poem that is mesmerizing, heightened by the steady pace of the rhythm and rhyme.
