I've never been able to physically do what the poem clearly shows. I'm glad that you can.

Unlike the others who would seem to want to roll out dusty old scrolls with the words fading off the page, I prefer to get my stories any way I can. Totally enjoying watching reality shows of people doing interesting things and dramas of all sorts.

Occasionally I will crane my neck to the point of strain, while desperately holding down the pages of a hardback or paperback on my desk, reading in my slow, engineering way, a book for an hour or two. My hands might spasm from strain but never tremble with emotion. But, while reading or watching good stuff, I occasionally tear up. Doesn't everybody?

I will never give up reading books, no matter the direction technology leads us, there is something quite special in reading the written and printed word...-e-

I truly hope computers never replace books. There's just something about holding a book and reading. It's an experience that can't be equaled or duplicated by reading from a monitor screen.
