I once took care of an elderly man whos heart had stopped for just an instant. When he recovered, He told me that he was with the Lord. I smiled and asked him what the Lord said to him, He told me that He had to come back here for those who needed him. I was amazed at the joy in his eyes when he said that he Knew now where he was going.

I took my last breath, one cold, winter night, In the company of loved ones, I lay. Many tears, they sadly shed Because of my going away Yet, in one awesome moment, I was Lifted upon an angel’s wings Above the din of sobbing souls To the sounds, that Glory sings Praises, joyous hearts aglow and Before me, the “Lamb of Grace” Standing in awe, I bowed my knees Before my Savior’s face His voice was soft, as a gently flowing stream, He spoke my name, and then smiled “Welcome to your heavenly home I love you so, my child Yet, it is not time to settle here You have still so much to do. Many years on earth will pass, Before your time there, is through.” He touched me then, with His nail pierced hands, I felt grieved that I must depart .“You will return to Me again some day Your name’s written within My heart.” The machines beside my hospital bed, Beeped once again their startling tune My Savior sent me back to earth To a wonderful life anew No one believes what I know. I have been where the angels reside. Someday I will be, always home Where I was, for one moment in time
