Slow...he walked into the well of my darkness...
paused for an intimate moment as he
viewed the perverse walls of my guilt and pain.
I imprisoned my heart, hid my emotions
and placed blood tinged vows in shadow boxes...
never to endure the bereft tears of love again.
Quietly...I stood on the sidelines of my isolation...
curious to trace the roots of his fascination...
all the while breathless...as his conversation
danced and sang...hushing my sobbing ears.
He held a timeless pen within hand
as he searched through my timeless truths...
promising to rekindle the flame of my silent hunger
with a muse wrapped in to have and to hold...
armed with fire and desire to rupture time,
space and return my captive heart
the dowry of this verse...his to love
as he moved right through me.

What an exceptional poem! Still, it seems to lack that final read where tiny tweaks could transform it into a classic. Start with "This" Moment and You. Perhaps the "twilight" of my darkness. "Where" my imprisoned heart... The actual words should be yours.
It reads well.

this highly erotic piece I have greatly enjoyed to read thru because of its competently 3D presentation. Cheers, alex

A powerful expression of passion rekindled. I certainly hope that this time intuition is right.

Interesting write. I'm not sure I understood it, but interesting none the the less.
