dark star

I think he must have been a dark star
who once lost his way
amidst the grandeur of heavens
unknown to
mortal men

he must have feared his aloneness
on his lonely journey
to a small place, where, from a womb
he was born ‘mongst
mortal men

small and weak and fearful he was
of me, his son..
looking into my angry eyes, must he
have been afraid of me
who luved him so ?

I hope he is now a bright star
who knows his place
and sings as once he did when
I listened.
and luved him...
