shoot through king = boy who is never good at staying in a relationship and consequently has a list longer than long of ex girls.

the night [belongs
to the dogs and beggars]

and me...

i see you standing there
with a rose between your teeth,
a thorn in your tongue,
a mouth full of bloody 'i love you's':

vague remnants of promis[cuity]

[skinned knees are easier to fix
than broken hearts]

the night and me
shoot through
on the shoot through king

the night and me-
a 'tuckmyhairbehindmyeareverythreeseconds'
kinda gal.
i hate that in a girl
so lost
and unkempt
and all for
you,
the night
and me
and vague remnants of promis[cuity]

everyone stole all the great comments.....(damns) i must get out here moreoften...this write is so wrneching and honest. .. and i adore the strungout 'tuckmyhairbehindmyearevery...' words, makes the emotional effect ~as if there is no thought behind these women~; must admit my fave part is "belongs to dogs and beggars" for so many myriad reasons;.. .. the symbology of seeing ones self as both, jsut superlative in everything. ... i think i must favouritize you :}

I got the distinct impression you had been dragged backwards through a box thorn hedge...
But that's how one ends up feeling as far as Im concerned!!

Perhaps the fingers of a shadow will tuck better that strands of hair behind your ears, not casual or indiscriminate, but with that sense of tenderness that the knees feel after kneeling for so long.
No vague remmants here.
