As sheets of paper make a heap on my writing table, “THE FLOW” presents me with time to thank God…to reflect…on my life... my blessings…again… I must put pen to paper. The mere uttering of my praise will not do. Around each corner of my mind I view the many things that have come to pass in my life…good…bad…life altering….mind numbing… I see how Jesus kept me…saved me…from me…from Satan and his burning hell… My praise and thanksgiving could overflow countless books of poetry and other forms… my testimony…my story.
Should I simply speak to you of all the blessings…the sorrows…the failures and false starts…the peace that Jesus imparted to me through each of them…it would…could…never…feel anywhere near... enough…I must put pen to paper. When my pen meets paper it seems that words flow like the finest silk. When I attempt to tell someone verbally about where this soul has been…my words seem to lose themselves in my mouth….I must put pen to paper to adequately tell of my Father’s compassion, forgiveness, protection and deliverance.
As the profound expressions flood down from the innermost parts of me…the core of my spirit…joyfulness erupts with a whispered shout….my gratefulness...my devotion to you…spill out onto countless pages…the words…no matter what they are…spell out, “Thank you, Jesus~!”…before I realize what is taking place my unbridled praises spill out onto countless pages.
Sometimes I can accomplish nothing except to put pen to paper. When The Flow arrives…I am…captivated…blissfully bound…by my love for Jesus…for the flow of words in any given form…“THE FLOW” arrives …by the Sweet Holy Spirit… by the knowledge…the sense of indebtedness to Jesus…by the awareness of the reality that I shall in no way…be able to reimburse Him…by my shame…guilt…and yet somehow encompassed in sheer joy…I must put pen to paper.
I was once a little girl who had a dream…a fantasy I thought…never forgot or gave up that old dream…just thought it would never in this life be mine…The darkness from whence my soul came is foremost in my mind as I await the return of “The Flow”. It is like Jesus and I sit here reminiscing on what he has already taken me through. The memories of His grace and mercy stop me in my tracks…tears flow…once more…I must put pen to paper.
My enduring dream is now also my mission. God has graciously granted my desire.
In order to go on living this amazing dream…I must warn my brethren of hell’s fire. I shall use the remainder of the time I am allotted, writing words of Jesus’ passion.
I must love…in spite of…I must put pen to paper…I will de judged by my actions.
If the world grows weary of my writings, I shall not let that deter my way of praise. I am unable to repay Jesus for His unconditional love…his care…His loving ways. As I turn my thoughts to what is happening...“The Flow” has again come through.
God says quietly,” You must put pen to paper”; that’s what you were born to do.”
