Half A Mile

They gave me the day off.

Half a mile,
I brave the storm
My heart is beating wild
Half a mile,
To see your lovely smile
Half a mile,
To hold you near
Half a mile,
My heart will dare
To love you for awhile
Half a mile,
In the summer wind
Beyond the din,
Our two hearts
Beating wild!

A lovely poem. I am sure that all of the ladies would love to have a man go 2 feet to get to them in such a loving way. Dream on Janet! lol
