“Unseen Blossom”
 



a cryptic existence,
cast upon a world, solely,
tumbles, unknowingly,
down ...
 
> do I test these wings to fly,
now … escape descent?)
 
attached is the decay of it--
the demise of the soul in it--
it ... dies like the flower
 
the flower … it grows
in, fathomless, detached places--
roots bore, deeply—firmly so ...
 
> will a flower know transgression?
will it flourish against its flaws?)
 
who or what will know it,
savor its alluring stance and blossom,
bear its afflictions, yet, feel ...
the velvet petals, their soft pleasure—
 
> rubbery tactile—moist sinew bends senses--
 insects fly, enticed, by the gainful nectar in it.)
 
covet the, prolific, dust dispersed,
that seems to grow from nothing;
in solitude, it survives its term ...
 
who or what will see it,
how it struggles in blooming—
its color and grandness ...
 
whether it leans towards or away
from the light of day,
when it starts to whither ...

it crumbles—
dies alone and beautiful—

> In dust and quiet attached with barren field—
flailed on windy ‘scapes; no companion weeps ... )
