“Envious Imp”

My selfish heart
Beats dank and madly—
Is a veil to hopeful spells
So precariously, I waltz or lay
Hobbling in love, an imp
My Love—my savior Love, I’m
Paralyzed by troubles I find—
Joined to the muse, my eyes
Like jewels and you; you are
Two, and more—a glistening flock;
So delightful—I stop
I’ll not move—even if I’m
Kicked, hopped or tripped—
Danced on to brinks of trauma, I’ll drool … over you
I marvel your illuminating beauty—
Your elemental shine—a spectacle I pursue
That is greater … is lustfully divine
I envy … how I tell the truth
I halt, stone-like and possessed;
Not a chuckle or a grimace can escape my face
I am vexed in silence ... longing to contain you—to
Weave your thrills into my presence—
Spread my calling mists of whispers;
They call you near to me….

“Envious Imp” (rough in1)

(Kicked, hopped and skipped
Danced on without trauma
How you survive me) = these are basic words and thoughts; their purpose is to inspire and to keep my focus on the writings expression overall--or...to add into the writing.

My selfish little heart
Is a veil of good spells
So precariously, I waltz—
Hobbling in love an imp,
My Love—my savior Love, I’m
Paralyzed by troubles I find;
Like jewels and you; you are two,
So lovely—I stop
I’ll not move—
I marvel your illuminating beauty—
I envy … to tell the truth
I stand stone-like and possessed
Not a chuckle, nor a grimace
Can escape my face
I need you
Stir you into my presence
Beg you near me

Kicked, hopped and skipped
Danced on without trauma
How you survive me

“Envious Imp” (rough in2)

How you survive me

My selfish little heart
Beats dank and madly—
Is a veil of hopeful spells
So precariously, I waltz—
Hobbling in love an imp,
My Love—my savior Love, I’m
Paralyzed by troubles I find
Like jewels and you; you are
Two, and more—a glistening flock
So delightful—I stop
I’ll not move—whether
Kicked, hopped or skipped
Danced on—short of trauma—I’ll drool
I marvel your illuminating beauty—
Your elemental shine
I envy … to tell the truth
I stand stone-like and possessed
Not a chuckle, nor a grimace
Can escape my face
I need to have you—
Stir you … into my presence—
Call you near me….

“Envious Imp” (rough in3)

The selfishness in my heart
Beats dank and madly—
Is a veil to hopeful spells
So precariously, I waltz—
Hobbling in love, an imp
My Love—my savior Love, I’m
Paralyzed by troubles I find—
Joined to the muse, my eyes
Like jewels and you; you are
Two, and more—a glistening flock;
So delightful—I stop
I’ll not move—even
Kicked, hopped or skipped—
Danced on to the verge of trauma, I’ll drool
I marvel the illuminating beauty—
Your elemental shine—a spectacle I pursue
That is greater—more divine
I envy … to tell the truth
I halt, stone-like and possessed;
Not a chuckle, nor a grimace
Can escape my face
I need to contain you—
Stir you into my presence—
Call you near me….

“Envious Imp” (rough in4)

My selfishness heart
Beats dank and madly—
Is a veil to hopeful spells
So precariously, I waltz or lay
Hobbling in love, an imp
My Love—my savior Love, I’m
Paralyzed by troubles I find—
Joined to the muse, my eyes
Like jewels and you; you are
Two, and more—a glistening flock;
So delightful—I stop
I’ll not move—even if I’m
Kicked, hopped or tripped—
Danced on to brinks of trauma, I’ll drool … over you
I marvel your illuminating beauty—
Your elemental shine—a spectacle I pursue
That is greater … is lustfully divine
I envy … how I tell the truth
I halt, stone-like and possessed;
Not a chuckle or a grimace can escape my face
I am vexed in silence ... longing to contain you—to
Stir your thrills into my presence—
Spread my calling mists of whispers
Call you near….

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
