"From Nothing To Something From Something To Nothing"
Into the life like a splash of great hope
The eyes and other senses go wildly searching the world
What is around is scary and lovely all in the same
Hunger gives us in to the great need and breath
Warmth or the coolness brushes against the new skin
Cry
Something keeps lifting this life up and moving this life around like a package
Can't let go—it has a great hold and will not see this living free
Want to eat something but what holds this living body will not understand completely
Someday this life will stand and will walk away—many laughter(s) and the many tears
And the many reasons why
Cry
Lifting up into the living like a great bird of prey—searching
Finding what it takes to alleviate the never ending hunger of this body
The never ending hunger of this Spirit
The never ending hunger
But this hunger will die
The winding down to the final-ness of this life—this world
The bones that creek and snap
The bones that cause the life to cry
That cause the Spirit to whine for its freedom to go
Without the living it was bound to for so few for so many years
Lie down now … don't you
Cry … .
