“Gave my soul a rose”
I gave my soul a rose—
Just as I would have given, my girlfriend, and
It said … “Thank you”….
We stood there … with smiling gaze—
My memory came, of tears—too many … I trace—
The wind became heavy…on my face
Clocks ticking loudly—
Sudden, sharpening, disintegration—rays of chromatic light,
Beaming—permeating my presence—piercing
Through the skin—the stroke of nervous arrows, shot—
Many cacophonic clocks—tick, tick, tick, tick—ticking….
Moments wind … a stressing and confused timepiece—in, and
Out of life—there’s no,
No, sure, return, … no, return—no—
Flesh falls down … as would the rain of dark skies—into the dirt,
Into the dirt, from which I was conjured, and
My wings are…stuck in the sand,
Still trying hard to fly….
This struggle is arduous, and exhausts my strengths—I
Fall heavily to my knees—bowing my head towards my soul, my eyes fixed and gazing—facing the ground
Hands disappear into earth—as I … cough, the remains, of my, soul out … laughing
I know, I become lifeless, yet I have caused enough
Disaster … with you here, in me
I heard your cries, and felt your pains—yet
Hear my last breath … I
Love, you, Soul—love….
