“I see it, so”
Life stays so veiled
The mysteries of life canter, offbeat,
While we cross the plains of living and dying
Our lives come full of dreams—some,
We make
Some dreams falter to a worthless pile of things—
Good that we are sometimes, only asleep, when dreaming
It is our chance to gather again, and wake
Sleep, is a humble humbling time for us
We are so innocent, lying there, as we may
Getting the rest, we’ll need, to run and play
Eyes will open to see—seemingly, for the first time
Lying there, and, at times, confused to see the world
Again—we
Lift out of bed to discover what is ahead, in wait
The world calls us, and we go, and go—nothing
Nothing stops us—stops the life race
We scurry and laugh—we slow and cry
We worry and we become content in ferocious waves
We hurt and elate—we forget and remember the days
We jump into life, again faster, with a broken, yet
Heartfelt happiness and stammer to speech
Exclusive pressures of living, affect one and not
The other—the other sees the one, yet, not
Another—both wonder about all the others
Life goes on … without them
And, they, even, without
Their lovers
