"Tied Up"

A soul longs and quivers all the time for—
Whatever a soul could desire
Could the soul long to have control over the fire—
To absorb its whipping tails of painful consummation, or
Could it need for the fervor of a truth, that never ever expires
I 'ave heard many tales of a soul dancing,
Perhaps, the music of this mundane life it loves, and never wants to leave
Does it want to die—does it want to die no more
Can the soul die—
Spill its earthen companions, all over the earthen floor;
So tightly woven into the body, as knotted stitches,
That never let loose easily—
With every tear contained in the clutching hands of beings,
How would a soul become free—
How is the look and appearance of a soul—
How would it be of you, or of me
As it is a gift to beings,
Does it not feel completely imprisoned—
Could a soul be, seen, on the ground, kicking, like a child, in a tantrum
Wanting things….

“Loosed From Me”

Lifted upon the swells of the air and winds…
All over the particles of this atmosphere—must not…breathe in
I 'ave let my spirit free—it goes, twists, and it bends…
All over the worlds and galaxies—it has transcended its capture
And, it is becoming—a beautiful place...look!
A beautiful place to be—there! My spirit—swelling!

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.

Next Arrivals by Robin Ouzman Hislop

Robin Ouzman Hislop's poetry is certainly in dialogue with some of the key architects of the 'poetics of indeterminacy' – both the Modernist strands represented by the likes of Beckett and Stein, and the postmodernist strands represented, initially,
