You left this world in 1970
Just a few months before I would graduate high school...
Grandfather followed you eleven months later...because he couldn't live without you.
It has been hard not having a grandmother and grandfather to love and adore...
I remember how loving you were.
I remember when I wrote to you and told you I wanted to write books.
I remember you said you thought that was wonderful.
I wish you could read my stuff today. I think you would like it.
Grandmother, I look forward to the day when we can see each other again.
In the meantime, Happy Birthday in heaven and hug Granddaddy for me too.
