A new morning has greeted us
2017 greets us with new hopes
2016 has been replaced
Take heart and be comforted
We'll make the year move in our favour
Learn from the past, ugly lessons
Move on and create the new ripples
They'll teach us the values
Noble values that will impact others
Friends and foes alike
Keep the path clear
Keep the mind settled
Keep every choice precise
Waste not life again
Pursuing earthly wealth isn't all
Favour life, health and peace
And we'll live above our circumstances!
Eh . . . I have trouble with one New Years resolution . . . Wouldn't stand a chance with all of these. Just kidding (in a way), these are mighty worthwhile things to shoot for. I made one New Years (posted here) resolution, and if I can keep it, maybe these will fall in line.
