Beckoning Moonbeams

How the moonlight lights up the waves of the river at night and the thoughts that come to mind.


A strong wind
forced the waters
to make the waves higher
out on the sandy beach.

The light of the full moon
reflected on the many
shiny ripples and waves
giving a sparkle to each.

It was all so much like life,
going by with a lot
of flash and sparkle
beckoning us to enjoy
and take advantage.
