I don't want
To come out
Of the sunshine
Of my concentration

It is dark out there
And damp
And I am vulnerable
To dark

Awareness without focus
Is a wet map
On the face,
Blinding the eyes
And smearing
Identity.

To be my sunshine's shadow

Worthy as abject
