Just a blob in a blobs' world -
but I would hope to made of rubber
and bounce with
the good energy of an electron
and not the negativity
of a free radical
Or perhaps to be made of steel
like a ball bearing
which glides along smoothly,
easing the free-flowing movement
of other of life's more necessary parts...
It's a blob's life;
little spheres living life in squares:
rushing about in cars, trains or planes;
living in houses;
hiding behind desks;
confined, labelled and packaged
in your own blobby box:
"Hello! I'm a Big Blob;
what kind of blob are you?"
Blob existence says that
cyber-space is not real life
and not real relationship;
So why is it that here
I find our blobbiness
disappears like the awkward
and clumsy husk of a seed,
revealing the shining nature
of the soul within
and exposing that which
is the truly life-giving
and fruitful part?

For true vision you need to be alone with your thoughts and not the thoughts of the blob nation or group that we nominally belong to, and that's when poetry begins, when you take responsibility for your own self-growth, then watch that blob go beyond its blobbiness!
