Never be afraid to fail, fear is normal, like fear of walking infront of a bus, as D.E. said nothing to fear but fear itself, conquere fear win life, fear can lose one their friends, marriage, fear is strong, faith is far more powerful, never listen to un-natural fear..

Very excellent provoking write Kate!Methinks we fear all things for a moment so to speak, such as starting school, new nob, new love,getting a disease, being sick, I could go on, but hopefully it isn't a way of life ,or we would be phobic. We shouldn't be afraid of fear;-)!Learning to control any fear, is to make it work to our benefit.

Maybe it's the dreamer or songwriter in me...but I share the
thoughts of Bill Murray in this. His questions are priceless.

The only time I was afraid to live was when I went through
three and a half years of suicidal depression, after my son
went "missing." Since I pulled my life together, I anxiously
await, and then treasure, each new day of living.

Are you afraid to live Kate? Didn't living your yesterdays prepare you for today and your tomorrows; however many they may be? Are you afraid to see the Sun? Are you afraid to share the stars with someone? Are you afraid to hear a baby cry? Are you afraid to say goodbye? Are you afriad of anyone like me who lives his dreams in fantasy and "let's pretend"; already knowing how life will end?
Does that scare you? Are you afraid to sacrifrice and take a chance to search the dark looking for the 'spark' of life that makes all things possible. I know you Kate, and I know you will never be afraid ; so long as your dreams are filled with memories of those who love you. And there are many. Bill
