Tantalizing and cerebral composition ..Kate....that throws up more enigmas than answers...
Different from the norm....which is a landmark sign of someone who is seeking the ultimate truth in their craft...

You're a gifted poet Kate but what makes you stand out is your originality. There just is nobody else that writes remotely like you. I enjoyed this intriguing poem.

This reads like a cerebral telegram......
I do believe in those things.......
sending and receiving thoughts.....especially from "fans"
its the human connection.......
this is delightful!

hmm, poem of involvement, is the energy coming from the sun or from the narrator of the poem? is the sweaty obsessed fan unwelcome? This poem is mysterious and one to mull over when on the treadmill.

They say that passion gives you wings to fly;
makes your eyes sparkle, your skin glow
and causes your hair to shine.
It keeps you fit, too,
and imbues you with
fresh energy and joie de vivre...

Darn Kate I wish your joie de vivre would rub off on me..I looked at your bio pic. you have that impish smile..a liveliness and passion for life!! That will NEVER wane ..YAY!! Thank God some women still have it..sigh..I'm half-dead...LOL!!

...Well, Ed... they're kinda blue/green, sea-colours: stippled, rag-rolled and sponged all swirly - as the fancy took me... but, of course - given my preoccupation with the sea! And, uh-uh!
