Water frozen is life trapped,
Blue and White.
But, tear by tear, my salt melts
polar time and space,
thawing a sweetness I taste upon my lips
Kate...very very creative write my friend....clap clap clap....you are getting better and better and this poem is a treat for all of us...we are learning a lot from you...keep up the great work Kate...love n luck....BHUWAN
oh you're gonna love the late derek jarman's film and radio play BLUE. Better as a radio tho as the film is just a blue screen with a soundtrack all the way through. Harrowing but engrossing account of jarman's battle with AIDS. Kaleidoscopic, well, shades of blue........thinks of buying a new pair of shoes at one point lying in his hopsital bed, but decides the ones he has are sufficent to 'walk him out of life'. Can't get AIDS help in one London district, but the nurse says to him, 'You might try district X, they have a theatre!' How ignorant is that! But your Nordic blue seems more life-affirming, Kate!
the frozen spectrum is embued with the color of history and affects our tonal essence ... as we thaw it gives way to sweet salt of being and the oneness of perspective found in its flow ...
your getting this polar metaphor down to perfection ...
I think I'm twisting this, but I like it so... I see us trapped here in the frozen white places of earth while thirsting for the blue heavenly realms. Splendid write Kate!;-) Happy Easter!
love,
Eileen

Sad the polar caps are not suffering from global warming. But yanky boiling. Bush thought he went to a coyote meeting, till he was told Kyoto.
Hey whats that cheney...
Notice Bush never talks when Cheney is drinking a glass of water....
This poem says STEADFAST to me
anyone who will wait for tear after tear to fall and melt
a polar frost of all things......KNOW....absolutely what they want.....or on the other hand........what could be waiting....
I am intrigued!
excellent.......pax Anita :)
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
Regardless of where you may be found in love this beautiful masterpiece can be
'thawing a sweetness I taste upon my lips'
Love this, girl!
