Hmmm... still in a bit of an odd mood... this is a wry look at rhetorical questions... or something. Glad my children didn't get round to these ones. A write filled with Confucian??!! :)) xx

HOW, GOD?

“who are you?, which much?
I’ve always hardly known you,
will you
be in touch?”

Richard Price – “Lick and stick”

How, God, did you conceive of “plural”,
being sole I Are?

In darkness, how did you
divine of light –
did you read it in the stars?

Seeking answers as to “how”
is the sound of one-hand clapping --

life, light and love
are impossibly conceived
in tender womb of the dove.

Quite profound questions, Kate - but I doubt questions that would disturb your kids. And I love your last stanza.

So many of my own questions wrapped up in this one, Kate.
For me it's a state of mind, a constant.
I related and enjoyed very much. Thank you.

Love,
Bonnie

Pure and sweet words of wonder and I believe we have the right to question even God for it was he that gave us the ability to question and think with the minds he provided. Great Write and a nice new pic of you and your beau. Congrats on 28.
Hugs,
Pops
