Breathtakingly beautiful, Kate! Here, snow is as rare as hen's teeth........except in Galveston, last year: six inches of white! 'Nary a flake here. And this year...way above normal temps and no rain. CRAZY!

This is nothing short of devine, Kate. There is something very peaceful in the falling snow, if we have the time to stop and enjoy it. It soothes the soul and refreshes the spirit as it quiets the world that surrounds us. Perhaps upon frozen limb, we might spy the stark contrast of a red cardinal enjoying the moment with us...see you have my mind wandering to being in the snow on Christmas morn. Not much chance of snow here this year since it is about 20+ degrees too warm, but this moment that I have spent here reading your wonderful words has delivered my imagination to a snowy place.
