Thank you for all your love and support, Sweet People xxooxx ... here's another poem from my last night's musings... TGIF. K xx

SPRUNG TENSION

Squeezed by pythonic coils
of life’s besetting problems,
I breathe easy, as if only constricted
by entwining feather boa –

all hard walls turned soft,
and passed through ghost-like
by mind of a romantic.

Pressure can’t subdue the soul,
but lends power and
a spring resurgence
to tender blade that pierces blunt
iron fist of hardship’s soil.

My spirit’s high on pipe of peace,
spirals upwards in malleable visions,
denies harsh bands of solid rock.

Escape can be easy –
just relax and release.

Reality is what you make it
and power to transform is from
within.

the true test of a soul is its ability to see beyond the constraints of its design and to reshape its contours, allowing its quintessential nature to transform and acquiesce ...

very effective mood and voice, Kate ...

Your poetic expression of life's challenges and recurring attempts to mrrt them, is phenomenal. It's almost like watching a serial at the old movie house, and knowing that Kate is going to win... but by dern, we want to see how she does it ! ! ! - Bill

Kate,

Yes. Yes. What a joyous release in verse, very well penned. You and your Mum are being lifted in prayer and are in many of our thoughts. Just trust Him to pull you through whatever you face with stregnth and dignity, as your words have been through all this.

Another excellent write; BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Sweet Kate you have such marvellous power and strength, just reading your work with your optimistic outlooks and dreamy hopes always gives me an urge to smile and stand that much taller. When i see how well you handle all the strive in your life it gives me the courage to handle my own with a lot more inner peace then I would normally have. Thank you for being you Sweet Kate.

Reality is indeed what we make it, and first of all we must face it four square to completely dissipate the illusory monsters of fear !
All is illusion, and only God remains Kate !
