You went right into the heart of the matter with this astute offering, Kate. As long as we are breathing we should experience all that we can about life and that would include both the yin and then yang in all things. What better way is there to appreciate the best of life than by surviving the worst of it? This is excellent work!

Amen to this invigorating write.

Faithfulness is an attribute sorely lacking in this bloody world KB. Rubber meets the road imagery, you created here, that makes the reader wince at times.
