Quite amazing--the many sacredly altruistic and loving forms that angelic presences can take in the human community, or the life of an individual. And equally amazing, it seems to me, that ONLY ANGEL should have framed the purity of such forms with such illuminated grace.

This is not only beautiful, but packed with content, Kate. Angels appear in so many ways and under so many circumstances that it would be impossible for me not to believe in them. I once had a photograph taken of my aura and the photographer pointed to places in the picture and told me, "those are angels." I was amused by her words since when I sat down to have my picture taken, I silently called my angels to sit in with me.

Angel experts tell us Angels are androgynous..it really doesn't matter..lol..what matters is their presence in one's life-scenario..nice to know they are around..I for one have a rapport with them..I'd say many do, it's just a matter of recognizing that fact and communing with them..
Only yesterday I made eleven pastel drawings which I presented to the members that attended my FIRST Twin Flame workshop..a real hit!
Archangel Michael is in charge of Twin Flame reconnections..so say Hi to him and then SEE what happens..YAY!!

I love this Kate...right down to those angels in leather or lace...they come out of the woodwork or blue when we need them desperately or just for the heck of it...and you've managed to touch upon the spirit in every one. I think Jude said exactly what I'm thinking, but so much more eloquently than my mind could ever muster at midnight!
I do have to say that this is as warm as those encompassing angel wings...

I have had a real experience with an angel. One day I may write of it. However I include in my daily prayers after putting the armor on I ask the Lord to continue granting us the Holy angels that minster to our needs according to His will. An offbeat poem with a splendid message, Kate!They are genderless;-)As we will be if we reach heaven...

I loved this write...I too believe in angels and always have, only yesterday I was reminded of how close they actually are. My daughter had a wreck...the accelerator stuck on her blazer creating a great speed, being an inexperienced driver she didn't know exactly what to do, except to try and get off the road, she had her three year old daughter and another person with her, all buckled in. Anyway as she left the road, her wheels locked, causing her to miss a gas pump by one-two feet, she went between two parked cars, and bypassed a second fuel pump, went through a wooden fence and finally stopped in on a person's front lawn. The lady that owned the house saw the entire wreck, she said it was just like God's hand or an angel turned her blazer toward my yard, because if it hadn't she would've went over a 500-600 bluff, or hit those gas pumps. My daughter said, "mom, it was like the Lord guided me through the parked cars and past the pumps and the cliff right into this grassy yard. No one got one scratch on them, the blazer only suffered minor damage, and the cost of the fence was less than one hundred dollars...an angel was on the scene yesterday...so sister I do believe in angels, again beautiful write and wonderful thoughts.

i like your preference to couplets in this poem and may i add the rhyme and meter are flawless, the imagery choice ...

angels come in many shapes and forms ... those who are closest to us, we see in everything and at a moment's notice, they are ready to rescue and supports us in the wings of their endearment and strength ... we just need to look and ask ...

I agree with Kenny's comments, this is a pure heavenly write from an angel in AD.

Wow, you're learning the angelic way, innocence kept her apart, when will I learn to live, when will I learn live in God? Very fine writing, and I'd love to hear Sissel sing this; it would be pure moonlight, soft and soothing and gossamer. Angels seem to be the theme this week at Authors Den. What's happening, I think I hear wings beating at my window! Ah, it's a pigeon! An angelic write (sorry), But, what words do I use to speak of the ethereal?
A wonderful spinning of angel lore, and how they come into one's life. Not a confirmed believer here, but not a scoffer, either. Your well chosen words make it all an unsung song of love, and that's enough.
