I love-love finding things like this in margins... and I love even more that you shared this. --Raw words show so much about how you think before you smooth out the edges. It also shows raw talent, so far advanced that it boggles the mind.
I am amazed. Take the first stanza of "Defining Forgiveness..." This is what I see. The first word in each line have to do with attributes of Christ: "Mercy", "Grace", "Benedictions", "Healing balm"... and they are all joined to body parts with the word "of"..."lips", "arms", "eyes", "voice"... There's more that I see-- but for margin notes, this is fantabulous! Crazy-brilliant girl! --Charlie
Healing the quill, too, you know, they bleed to...how many tourniquets do we apply on our quill in any given moment of bleeding our ink of emotions...Body and Soul presses its flowers inside the pages, it's a keepsake, Kate...be well and thrive wherever this finds you...
You have captured the process of healing here in these two writes...I see a self healing and an outside healing....both expressed with poetic grace and wisdom....you paint emotions with grace.........bravo........pax A

Inner healing, what a delightful thing it is and we have to wait sometimes a long time for it. Forgiveness heals our souls and is necessary for peace to come to us. Salvation is from God and to take us upward and onward. Good write. **********
Inner healing...giving wings of flight and forgiveness doing the same...for in being forgiven, mercy is granted and a burden is lifted...our hearts take wing and soar.
...your title Kate...separates become one...the two verses found hidden come to surface...and the light you give each...we seem to recognize...sometimes the body wishing...to find a band-aid for the soul. Perhaps that is what you have given me this day...and I thank you for it.

Kate, both of these verses are as genuine and inspiring as can be. As we heal, we find ourselves finding a newness in life and soon we feel our soul's at ease once again. This is an exceptional writing.
Agony and estcacy breathed in with the scent of lilacs...two strong verses that say so much but also force the reader's mind to ponder all the possible meanings within.

What a piece of work! . . . I love it when you get into our souls . . . The pain and ecstasy making the pain disappear is the balm of lovers since time began . . . Nothing . . . NOTHING can match the transformation from total sadness and wretched misery to delightful and complete surrendering to the deliverance into the rapture of the moment when all pain disappears to be replaced by love's nectar . . .
