THE MOMENT
Part 2

I could not accept it,
I wouldn’t be beat.

I blockaded the hallway
and rolled up the street;

sealed all the town exits,
de-commissioned the ports,

put a guard on all corners
and alerted the forts.

I collapsed the high mountains
and snuffed out the stars,

then emptied the high seas
and burned all the cars;

I stopped all the clocks,
froze sun and hid moon:

now Moment must come
not a second too soon.

I enjoyed reading your poem about the moment. We all have moments in which we live in. Some are good, bad, and some are filled with happiness. This is what your poem brought out about the moment, the excitement, thrill, fear, uncertainties, thanks for such a good write.

Dammit! I love how you write! This reads like you're playing God. But then, it seems like the things that every politician seems to try to do. Brilliant writing, and your thought processes ain't too bad either. ;-)
