As I rushed from the house I
noticed the last rose standing in the garden.
I wanted her to have it as she made a recent
observation about that rose.
She was deep with despair and grief as I held her tight.
A tragic accident left her sad.
She will always hold fast the memories of the way
he brushed up against her to get her attention.
He was a friend's friend to all those who knew him best.
He brought great joy and happiness to little faces.
He enjoyed the hunt in far away places.
Just was his time today.
For Wezzie to be taken away.
A last rose to go with you my friend.
May you always find a soft bed at night
and find someone to hold you tight.
Purr on Purr on.
.
Be safe,
Karen
