Who is the one who violates The one who does, or the one Who does not participate But watches how we go back in time And judges ancient civilizations alike And then turns on the television at night To watch the news of the unfortunate few And the plight of the abandoned many Sometimes to glory in their blood Splattering far, hitting our living room wall Who is the one who betrays Who supports the murderous ways Of the few who break the norms Without silent support what then Would happen to those murderers who Would be trampled to dust by those To value life, liberty, yes happiness But when these values are lost and sense Instead we watch, at times applaud Who is ultimately responsible for Shed blood
I don't watch the news, it's to depressing. Perhaps if there was something helpful or positive on the news I would watch more often. I may have to deal with the human race distroying its self but I don't have to sit back and watch it happen on the news. lol
One hates to turn on the news these days or pick up a newspaper. The media has a tendency of blowing everything out of proportion. They dwell on the most gruesome to boost sales or ratings. Always the big guy preying on the weak and vulnerable.
Right does win in the end but pray that the end is justified.

I agree with Ed. It does seem at times though that the victimized are to blame for the actions of the perpetrator, and that is wrong. Great thought provoking write. Hugs, Laura
