Friendship Built
Conversation daily about life Finding our common ground Amazed that even due to our age So much we share thru our thoughts While there is ground that will never be common No matter how much we try Our friendship survives as we both realize That is part of our individual being Our hearts we found were common ground Both full of love and caring Our souls have become the same From sharing our inner feelings In separate spaces we live our lives daily Still allowing time together This space we share strengthens our friendship Building common ground together If only those around us totally understood How strong our friendship has become How we built it daily with totally understanding Maybe those around us would use our building tools Trust, honesty, caring, understanding Simple tools we all possess Finding and using our tools This friendship shall forever last John Thomas Ponder Copyright2004
