Gigantic extinct reptiles screams
Diminuendo runs across my ears
Making me digress slowly
Wander, just for the moment

Morbid and irresistible thoughts
Take me back, not easily
To sit and stay, for now
To rest here among the dinosaurs

Ancient beasts having to depart
Meant to lose at their
Informal eating establishment
Perhaps an oops taken back by God

Astute piercing shriek, high pitched tone
Makes me recoil from this man made shrine
Held sacred by many, I return
Not looking back I am into the now
