Photograph of one of my Dalmatian puppies at two days old.
I’m tired
I don’t feel
As though
I can write
My mind
Is tired
Not wanting
To think
At this moment
Words are
Spilling out
From my
Exhausted fingers
On to this page
Why can’t
I stop this?
I’m tired
I just want
To sleep
Not think
Not write
Something
Inside me is
Egging me on
Keeping me writing
Making me write
But
I am tired
And just want
To go to sleep
Perhaps
One more line
But
I’m tired
Not an animal lover...but a lover of good poetry..and this is good..
