Poem Artwork

Come immortals feast
Perhaps upon the blind
Left here on earth alone
They wander ignorant of time

Dance here upon the ground
To set the table bare
Tonight amongst the twilight
Your food shall be prepared

Dressed in the finest silk
You’ll feast beneath the stars
Upon the souls of drifters
Cast to earth from Him afar

Not smart enough to think
They live each life a sinner
Perhaps they’ll make you
A better sort of dinner
