I don’t feel the morning light today..

Silently the wind seems to whisper
Yet the thoughts of a distant spirit
Sing softly in the air for ears to hear
What then will I think of the moment?

Perhaps this second is just a eon’s dream
Then tomorrow my memory will be lost
Time seems to erase much of my mind
In eternity will my desires resurface?

Life’s movements are so reverent
So very thoughtless to the Father
I wonder do the Angels keep track
Someday will my life replay for all?

I don’t feel the morning light today
I must search out the horizon’s heart
Maybe forgiveness is needed here
But do the earth demons even care?

Brain's numb once again my head falls
Not far enough yet for the worms meal
Dirt close but, still can’t touch the rocks
Must I wait forever at the cemetery gates?
