Wonderful tribute to her, Peter; she was definitely one of the greats who seem to be taken from us far too soon. I grew up in the Windy City about the same time she did.

Great Tribute, Peter. I really liked Minnie Riperton. Just today, too I read where Lou Rawls is in the hospital with lung and brain cancer. We're losing a lot of our greats, Van Dross and Pryor. Hollywood and the music industry has its sad moments. It's nice that Jagger and Keith Richards and Rod Stewart, Simon, Garfunkel,
David Crosby, all over 60 still going strong, and Tina Turner, retired, over 60 and looking supreme!
