We see halfway down the street...God sees to the bottom of the road ..... ........................................................................... Hold fast to your belief in the Almighty He will never let you down As a mother could never forget the child at her breast So he knows you better than yourself No good thing will be witheld from you Its all about coincided timing He knows when its time to act Much is happening beneath the surface That you and I are unaware of Synonymous with the deja vu feeling This has happened, I knew it would in my heart Understand the more you try, the less you get Surrender all into his loving care Cultivate an air of grace and favor You are a child of God Calmness, serenity and tranquility will follow you around Unimaginable powers are working in your corner Step forward with confidence, and watch it all unfold Copyright by Peter Paton 2004

"Understand the more you try, the less you get
Surrender all into his loving care"

I think "Surrender" is the operative word and it is the hardest thing to do in our journey through faith. Somewhere along the line we learn its opposite: "Control" which dampens the journey, greately. Thanks for this important reminder, Peter. Merry Christmas!
